Lutheran Education

The Foundation will support processes, efforts, and programs of ministries that engage people in furthering their education and continued learning opportunities, enabling them to become of greater service in meeting the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of people.  Grants to the ten Concordia Colleges and Universities in the LCMS Higher Education System, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO., Valparaiso University and Midland University may receive favorable priority. Lutheran High Schools in Nebraska are the only High Schools that are eligible to apply for grants and Lutheran grade schools, with the exception of Trinity Lutheran School, Fremont, NE are not eligible to apply for grants.

The Foundation does not award grants to individuals.

If your ministry (organization) has not received a grant previously, you must first complete and submit a Grant Inquiry Form by email or in writing.  If your Grant Inquiry is accepted you will be sent the full Grant Application Form as well as full instructions for completing same.
